All trainees must be in possession of a current provisional driving licence on commencement of training.
INSURANCE
Provided the client is licensed to drive, all fees include client cover whilst driving the training vehicle.
The client must be accompanied by, or under the direction of a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor or on a Driving Test with an approved DSA Examiner.
FEES

LESSONS
Your driving lesson will be on a one to one basis. If you would like a chaperone to come along on your lesson then that can be pre-arranged. Normally lessons will start and finish at the same location, however I would be happy to start and finish your lesson from different locations, providing these are agreed at least one week in advance, and that both location are within the usual area of my work.
PAYMENTS
Payments for a lesson is to be made at the beginning or in advance of each lesson.
‘TDS’ does not provide credit facilities.
We accept payment by Bank Transfer, PayPal or cash. Where payment is made online, it will need to be cleared into the account of Taylor’s Driving School prior to commencement of the lesson/course.

SPECIAL OFFERS
Special Offers are provided entirely at the discretion of ‘TDS’ and can be changed or withdrawn at any time and without prior notice.
‘TDS’ reserves the right to withdraw any special offer terms where tuition fees remain unpaid.
Any special offer is to be used with in 30 days of commencing your driving course.
Discounted offer hours are to be taken in blocks of 2 hours. For example, an offer of first 4 hours at a reduced rate must be taken in 2 blocks of 2 hours, and within 30 days of commencing training.
Any offer hours not used within 30 days will be lost and the standard published rate will then apply.
Block bookings of 10 hours or more must be used within a 3 month period unless previously agreed between instructor and pupil, at time of payment. once paid, block bookings are non refundable.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS
You, the client must promptly make known to your instructor of any medical condition which may impair you ability to drive. Upon your disclosure ‘TDS’ may require a medical professionals confirmation of your ability to partake in these lessons.
APPOINTMENTS
While every care will be taken to ensure clients receive training at the requested time, all bookings are made on the understanding that ‘TDS’ is not responsible for the postponement of training due to traffic conditions, adverse weather, mechanical breakdown, illness or any other cause beyond our control.
If, in the view of the Instructor, a pupil is unfit to carry out a lesson safely, due to self-induced circumstances e.g. alcohol or drugs, the lesson fee remain payable and the lesson will not be permitted to go ahead.
MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS
All clients should ensure that mobile phones are switched off, prior to entering the training vehicle. For the safety and comfort of all occupants in the training vehicle, no calls will be permitted while the vehicle is in motion.
THE DRIVING TEST
‘TDS’ reserves the right to withhold the use of the training vehicle, if in the Instructors opinion the pupil has not reached the required standard.
The DSA test fee is payable separately.
‘TDS’ test day fees are payable prior to the start of the your test.
‘TDS’ cannot be held responsible for Test Appointments being postponed or cancelled by the Driving Standards Agency for any reason.
If your test is cancelled at short notice by the DSA, the test day fee is still payable to ‘TDS’. In these circumstances, you must reclaim this from the DSA directly.
Furthermore ‘TDS’ is not responsible for any failure of light bulbs etc. during the Practical Test.
All bulbs/lights etc. will be checked with the candidate prior to commencement of the test.
‘TDS’ cannot be held responsible in the event of mechanical breakdown prior to, or on the day of a driving test, such circumstances cannot be foreseen, however, ‘TDS’ will make every effort to obtain a replacement vehicle. If unable to do so, however, ‘TDS’ will refund the cost of the DVSA Practical Test Fee only. Where a client is advised of any mechanical failure, and there is sufficient time to cancel/reschedule the test and avoid any financial loss, but the client chooses no to do so, ‘TDS’ will not refund the DVSA Practical Test Fee in these circumstances.
PERSONAL ITEMS
‘TDS’ will not accept responsibility for damage or marking to clothing as a result of coming into contact with areas of the vehicle subjected to for example road dirt, brake dust, mechanical oils or grease - including, but not limited to the Show Me,Tell Me section of the course or Practical Test.
‘TDS’ accepts no liability for personal property that is left in any training vehicle or lost at any point during the course of a lesson.
PENALTIES
Whenever you are driving in the school vehicle, you will be under close supervision. However, ‘TDS’ cannot be held responsible for any infringement of the law. Any fines that are incurred during the course of the lesson or test will be the responsibility of the client.
